The FAT Attack

I have spent several years and many ups and downs in my weight to

I know from my previous encounters with fat, the number of things that can begin to go wrong, one after the other, triggered by each other and it goes on and on.  Here are some of the things fat affected in my life – in no particular order:

  1. Self Esteem

  2. Belief in self

  3. Perception of self

  4. Perception of others’ perception of self

  5. Motivation

  6. Movement around the stage when presenting

  7. Speed at which things are done (from house hold chores to simply moving around)

  8. Speed at getting dressed

  9. Frustration with getting dressed

  10. Burden of events because it means finding an outfit

  11. Burden of parties, because it means looking nice and that is not possible (in my eyes).

  12. General mood and emotional state

  13. Willingness to participate in team events or in fact any events

  14. Total refusal to look in the full length mirror when naked.  Actually, applies even when clothed.

I am sure there are other things I could list, however, this list represents those items that come to mind without even thinking about it.

At the end of the day, if such things can affect your work life, how will they not affect your personal life?
